Tier II Electronic Submission Process

***Tier II reports must be submitted by March 1st each year.***
 
  • E-plan is the preferred format for submitting your Tier II to the Tuscaloosa County LEPC and our local fire departments. This allows you to attach additional documents such as the LEPC questionnaire and emergency response plans. There is a nominal fee for using this service. New users may access e-plan via the e-plan webpage and select “Request an Account”. Please send an email to tuscaloosalepc@gmail.com stating that the Tier II report was filed through E-Plan.
  • Alternatively, you may use EPA’s Tier2 Submit software. Please email both the .t2s file and a .pdf copy of the Tier II report to tuscaloosalepc@gmail.com.
  • Don’t forget - you must also submit your Tier II to both ADEM and your local fire department. Let the Tuscaloosa County LEPC know if you need assistance.
 
● Important things to consider when preparing your Tier II report: Any updates to contact information? General facility details? Inventory and location updates?
 
● For facilities that report EHS above a threshold planning quantity (TPQ), you must also complete the LEPC Facility Questionnaire and submit it with your Tier II. The questionnaire is available on the LEPC webpage. The answers from this questionnaire help us facilitate the county hazard assessment and coordinate first response needs in our community.
 
● Remember to submit your annual contribution to the Tuscaloosa County LEPC! You can now donate via PayPal or use submit a check by mail using our paper form button below.
