CERTcert (1)

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program is a program designed to help train the public with how to properly assist those in need immediately after a disaster until first responders arrive on the scene. The program teaches citizens basic disaster relief skills and educates them on how to handle any hazards that can strike the community. Training exercises include disaster preparedness, fire safety/suppression, disaster medical operations, light search-and-rescue operations, CERT organization, psychology and terrorism.
